The tally was 588 in favor and 311 against, according to the certified results. 'I'm proud to be doing this legwork because I know it's going to benefit Spirit Lake Casino & Resort, Spirit Lake Tribe, and our people as a whole,' tribal citizen Peter Owlboy Jr. , who spearheaded the referendum, said in a post on social media before the vote.
